Elsa Diftopoulou
Elsa was born in Athens, Greece in 1986. She graduated Keratea High School in 2003 and moved on to study Marketing and Communications at the Economic University of Athens (ASOEE), Greece [BSc 2003 – 2008].
Her first professional step was in the publications industry, specifically at the ‘Express Financial’ newspaper where she served as a journalist, editing and proofing financial articles (2007-2010). Her talent, intellect and industriousness were acknowledged when she was promoted as a Junior Marketing Manager of the same company.
She started her career in the Private Insurance Industry in 2014 by joining Comergon. After obtaining her insurance accreditations and certifications, she joined the Employee Benefits Team as an Associate. At that time, she was in charge of the daily management and administration of a significant number of local & international accounts, as well as of the management of all claims related to them.
As a result of her outstanding performance, in 2015 she was promoted to the role of Supervisor – Employee Benefits Team. Whilst keeping a number of major accounts under her close watch, she undertook the responsibility to coordinate a number of supervising tasks across the Team.
Following the significant growth of the Employee Benefits portfolio of Comergon from 2015 to 2017, the department had to expand with the addition of more team members. She was by then promoted to the position of Manager – Employee Benefits Team. She now has the full responsibility of all daily operations of the Team, coordinating the tasks and actions of all its members as well as servicing major accounts.
She has participated in a large number of conferences and seminars on the specific faculty of Employee Benefits. Various subjects include International Best Market Practices, Employee Benefits Pooling Arrangements and Employee Benefits & Customer Satisfaction as well as a number of seminars on General Insurance Principles.
In 2022 Elsa proudly became a partner in the company.
Elsa is fluent in Greek and English. She enjoys reading books on classic literature and history. She will be the first volunteer for a lunch or drinks with friends and will always enjoy a nice holiday.
